OUR STORY
From One Mother's Story
JORGIA’S IMPACT FOUNDATION was born from a mother’s unwavering love and fight for her daughter, Jorgia, who lives with severe autism and cystic fibrosis. After navigating countless hospital visits, emotional breakdowns, and daily life challenges, founder LaShawn Toney realized that what families like hers needed most wasn’t just medical answers—it was community, empathy, and support.
JORGIA’S IMPACT FOUNDATION became that space. Through storytelling, shared experiences, and honest conversations, LaShawn created a nonprofit rooted in compassion, understanding, and the belief that every family deserves to feel seen.
Today, JORGIA’S IMPACT FOUNDATION provides resources, real-life education, and emotional support for families raising children with autism. From heartfelt blogs and videos to inclusive events and advocacy efforts, the organization helps caregivers find connection, clarity, and strength. LaShawn continues to share her journey publicly—not for recognition, but to remind others they aren’t alone. Through JORGIA’S IMPACT FOUNDATION, she’s building more than awareness—she’s building a village.
