💜 My Journey Raising Jorgia

And Why I Created Jorgia’s Impact Foundation

My journey raising Jorgia has been the most challenging, stretching, faith-building, and beautiful experience of my life.

When autism became part of our story, I didn’t receive a manual. I received moments — some filled with joy, others filled with uncertainty. There were days of meltdowns, long appointments, advocacy meetings, and nights where I cried quietly, wondering if I was doing enough. There were times I felt exhausted, overwhelmed, and unseen.

But there were also moments of breakthrough.

Moments where Jorgia’s smile reminded me that progress doesn’t always look the way the world expects it to. Moments where I realized her strength was shaping mine. Moments where I understood that her voice — even when different — deserved to be heard just as loudly.

Raising Jorgia taught me patience. It taught me advocacy. It taught me how to fight for services, how to navigate systems, and how to stand firm in love even when the road felt heavy. Most of all, it taught me that autism is not something to hide — it is something to understand, embrace, and support.

I created Jorgia’s Impact Foundation because I know firsthand what families go through behind closed doors. The breaking points. The silent prayers. The financial strain. The emotional toll. The isolation. I didn’t want another parent to feel alone in those moments.

Jorgia’s Impact is more than a nonprofit — it is a reflection of our journey. It is my way of turning pain into purpose. It is my commitment to creating safe spaces, real support, and practical help for families navigating autism.

Everything I do is rooted in love for my daughter and belief in every family walking a similar path.

Because of Jorgia, I found my voice.

And through Jorgia’s Impact, I help other families find theirs.
